Fancy a challenge?

Woolton Air Cadets

Welcome to a world of action and adventure! Being an Air Cadet is a rewarding and fulfilling experience and 2359 (Woolton) Squadron offers a wide range of fun and challenging activities, suitable for those with no experience or anyone who has already had a go.

If you are at least Year 8 at school and like the idea of national camps, trips overseas, field craft, experiences in flying, gliding, sport, adventurous training, drill, target shooting, and cyber skills, among others, why not come for a visit?

Make friends. Develop skills.

Woolton Air Cadets

We seek to encourage the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership, citizenship, working as a member of a team, enhance social skills, and embrace diversity. 2359 (Woolton) Squadron is attended by over 40 Cadets so there are so many new people for you to meet.

Woolton Air Cadets is not a recruitment organisation for the main RAF, so you can benefit from training and gain qualifications that will be useful for all career choices, both in and out of the RAF. The skills you can gain can help you with whatever you want to do in life.

Come and have a try!

If you are interested in coming along to find out more (and see what you could be missing out on!), please have a parent or carer complete the form and you can come along to have a look at our amazing Squadron. If you like what you see, you can join us on our next intake day.

When we receive your message, your parent/carer will be contacted by our Officer Commanding, Flight Lieutenant Whitfield, with more details about your visit and what to do next. We look forward to seeing you!

Our next intake days is on 17 July 2025, so make sure you come and see us before then!
